Schalenblende is a mineral with a fascinating, swirled appearance. Schalenblende forms in concentric masses that form swirls and bands of silver (Galena), Brown (Sphalerite) and Tan which is Wurzite. Wurzite is a rarer variation of Sphalerite which fluoresces orange under a UV light.
Approximately 1 5/8" long and 1/2" wide.
This pendant has been oxidized, polished and sealed to prevent tarnishing.
