Polychrome Jasper is a different colored Jasper from Madagascar. It’s also known as Desert Jasper. It’s a recently discovered Jasper stone that’s distinguished by its beautiful and earthy colors. It was discovered by geologists in 2006 while searching for the currently mined out Ocean Jasper. It was named for its multi colors. Each desert jasper stone is unique and beautiful, and possesses a unique color combination, similar to a desert landscape.
